I'm sure the new WiFi ac products will be backwards compatible with older WiFi specs
If that's the case, it sure makes it difficult to upgrade doesn't it? I've got a router, 3 computers, 2 cell phones, PS3, receiver, TV, and printer all on the old spec.... if the new spec wouldn't be compatible, it would make upgrading awfully difficult.. and would imagine I wouldn't be the only one?
The specs posted a few pages back lists b/g/n so yes Im sure it wil be backward compatible. I was hoping to see ac in there so those of us who have the ac routers already could take advantage of the greater badwidth for streaming. The ps3 today is wirelss g only natively. I am using an n adaptor to increase that but still only supporting up to n would be a fail in my book. Weird I was such a gamer when ps3 came out its all I cared about now I mainly care about the media features.
