Dirty Screen Effect Bad or Normal

I've had a hx850 46" for months now and been very happy with the picture however If I play journey I get a weird darker discolouration/ inverse flashlighting effect in the bottom 2 corners even in a grey screen its very hard to notice so Im not really sure whats going on but I assume its a strange form of DSE is it worth going about a repair over?

If you only see it playing that game, then dont worry about it. However, that seems like an unusual amount of vertical banding for a 46 inch tv.

This is not DSE, this is flashlighting. Basically, you are getting lighter cones like on your screen but on dark scenes right? This is an issue with the pressure not being applied correctly in the corner. I have the same issue on my own 46hx850. Like you, on games like this, you can notice it but most of the time, you just don't. I personally almost don't notice it so it doesn't bitter me as much. The flashlighting on dark scene better me a bit more but I can live with it as well.

The other 40" and 46" of this model that I've seen all have this effect so I doubt a repair is neccessary just a quirk of the tv really Id say thanks to the local dimming that the flashlighting I get is mostly 98% less than the inverse flashlighting it only bothers me in journey because its so obvious never seen it in any other content
