Samsung UE32EH5000: Dynamic Contrast in action even though turned off?

Firmware 1021.

Settings:

Dynamic Contrast: Off
Black Tone: Off
Flesh Tone: 0
Colour Space: Native
Gamma: 0
Motion Lighting: Off

Colour Tone: Warm2
Digital Noise Filter: Off
MPEG Noise Filter: Off
HDMI Black Level: Low
Film Mode: Off
LED MotionPlus: Off

Despite the above settings being applied, there's still clear evidence of some kind of auto-dimming or -contrasting in effect on my TV. Sometimes this can be a real issue, for example when watching films with dark scenes, such as Rec2. I'm also told it messes with calibration.

Here's a recording I made to demonstrate the issue:

View My Video on TinyPic - Flash required

You can clearly see the menu varying in brightness here according to what's going on in the background (a portion of Law and Order: UK). You can even see the brightness of the menu changing whenever the police car's blue light flashes across the screen.

Is there something I can do to stop my TV from reacting this way?
