Has anyone had speakers shipped from the States to Australia?

Just looking at the B & W CM9s and price difference is ridiculous. In the states $1500 USD. In Australia , 4200AUD which is approx the same in US dollars. I reckon if I factor in the cost of shipping and taxes I would still be ahead. Does anyone know of any retailers in the states that would be prepared to ship them over and the cost?

Sorry I don't know.

But if you are going to have towers shipped overseas, better make certain that they have good packing, maybe even double boxed. Don't know about B&W, but often the packing with towers is designed for palett delivery to a store. Once they get into a regular parcel delivery system with other packages, the boxes can get very beat up. Towers shipped here in the US to a residence often end up with damage. I can only imagine what would happen if they are shipped overseas.
