Cab somebody shed some light on where to download a software upgrade for an old Hitachi P42H401 Plasma HD TV? I have tried Hitachi but cannot locate the link. According to TV I need to upgrade V0108.0001 place it on an MMC/SD card and do it.

I believe the firmware upgrade had to come from Hitachi, as in they would mail you the SD card, then you sent it back after update. I would call the Hitachi support line to see if it is still available.
Hi, I recently did a firmware upgrade on my P60X901. There is a download link from Hitachi http://www.hitachiserviceusa.com/Index1.asp I bought a cheap reader/writer from Iogear and had to get a 7pin mmc card. Very easy to do but with all firmware upgrades never interupt the process let it run its course. I wanted to calibrate it with the latest firmware.
