Speakercraft AIM Wide One and AIM8 One surrounds in 7.1 setup

I moved into a house that already had these speakers installed in the ceiling.  I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on whether the AIM8 One's with the directional tweeters would be better as mids or rear surrounds in a 7.1 setup?  I think the AIM Wide One's are marketed as offering more dispersion than the traditional AIM8 series so I was thinking of using those as the mids and then pointing the tweeters on the AIM8's at the MLP.  Anyone have any thoughts or recommendations otherwise?
