Speakercraft AIM Wide One and AIM8 One surrounds in 7.1 setup

I moved into a house that already had these speakers installed in the ceiling.  I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on whether the AIM8 One's with the directional tweeters would be better as mids or rear surrounds in a 7.1 setup?  I think the AIM Wide One's are marketed as offering more dispersion than the traditional AIM8 series so I was thinking of using those as the mids and then pointing the tweeters on the AIM8's at the MLP.  Anyone have any thoughts or recommendations otherwise? Thanks in advance.

Generally Speakercraft will tell you to use the Wide's as the side surrounds and then use the Aim's are the rear surround speakers.

Thanks, that is what I figured but couldn't really confirm.
