HTPC HDMI through AVR to PC display same time as audio from TV to AVR/speakers?

Is it possible to get image from HTPC to PC display through AVR same time as TV is on and TV's audio goes through AVR to speakers? Or do I have to have two HDMI cables coming from the HTPC; one that goes to AVR and one that goes directly to PC display?

That should be possible if your avr allows you to listen to a audio input while avr is set to a different video input.For instance the tv audio comes in on cd input you select video1 for pc and cd for audio input that should do what you want.
