Glad it worked out we have a maid comes in every couple of weeks to clean things & I made sure they were to understand never to touch my tv's for this very reason. Hopefully no one touches your set ever again.

You can also use a scent-free Swifter Sweeper refill for weekly dustings. No chemicals, dry, and it picks up all of the dust very easily and leaves absolutely nothing behind on the panel. I do that weekly on mine and only use the distilled water/microfiber cloth as needed (which isn't very often).
