Let's see some pics of your hifi system in "the office"

If you have a hifi system in a room with a desk - please post up some pics!
I'm looking for some ideas.

I have a long desk, and a 28" monitor (photoshop editting). I'm having issues thinking of a way to get the bookshelf speakers (rear port) off the wall, without ruining the layout of the room.
...regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has to share.

Thank you
Have a great weekend

Hi RyanA3, how about doing it the other way around. You have your own specific room with "issues", so please post your own pix of your office setup and I'm sure you will get lots of valuable support from members here. Deal? wink.gif

On a second note, when you post your pix please add some narratives on those "issues" you are having for our bettter understanding. Thx. smile.gif

these KEF's are for a little office where I am at my computer for hours at a time.
which configuration is better suited for listening purposes.
neither are ideal, I do realize this.

speakers are rear ported

my speakers are on my work desk, kind of scary considering they do not come with grills at all.
very "near-field" listening, but I would be situated center of the speakers, which is good.
the amp is the only thing missing, it would go under the small preamp, up next to the TT.

speakers are OFF the work desk, pfew
the amp is still missing, it would go on the bottom, under the small preamp, next to the colored drawers.
I'm more comfy here, the room works better.
but listening-wise, it won't be excellent.
this does allow me to pull the speakers off the wall a bit, if I wish.
I would get a lightweight microfiber towel/blanket to cover the hifi gear, when not in use b/c of the sunlight.

Jelly of a specific room, that link brought me to a host of amazing rooms!

this one reminds me that I could configure my desk in a way OTHER than along a wall.

I saw this room in that link you provided, thx:
