Hi Guys, I have a Yamaha 100 Watt per channel receiver. I have Polk RM8 speakers and a subwoofer. Here are the specs. What should my crossover setting be? 100 hz, 120 hz or 90 hz?

Total Frequency Response 95Hz-24kHz
Upper -3dB Limit 20 kHz
Lower -3dB Limit 130 Hz
Nominal Impedance 8 ohms
Efficiency 89 dB
Recommended Amplifier Power 20-125 watts per channel

If they are -3db at 130 hz, then 120 hz is the only one that is possible to use.

But...front speakers should be able to go down to around 60 Hz. Those are for satellite use only.

You need to buy a pair of front speakers that can go down lower, so that the crossover can be at 80 Hz or lower.

You can get a pair of Polk Monitor 40 speakers for $200 from Amazon; that is what I recommend.

. . .
Lower -3dB Limit 130 Hz
What Yamaha receiver are you using? Given that the -3dB point of your speakers is 130Hz, I'd go no lower than 140Hz, but if 120Hz is the only option you have in that range, go for 120Hz.
