I’m using the remote from my very old Marantz SR7000 receiver to control my bedroom theater. The remote model is Marantz RC7000SR.
My problem is in setting up a macro. I can do it just fine, the way the manual describes. This method requires you to press-and-hold the desired function button for 3 seconds to initiate the macro.
I have a macro that I use every day set in this remote that is much faster and easier to initiate. I only have to press the desired function button twice instead of holding it for 3 seconds. I set up that macro three years ago and can not remember how I did it. I have tried all the obvious button pressing permutations. I’ve read the owners manual. I’ve searched the internet. I’m out of ideas.
