I posted this in here because this might be the most appropriate place to put it.
I have a 5-6 year old gaming laptop that is quite long in the tooth. I'd LOVE to buy a new gaming laptop, but the cost / performance ratio is terrible. I do, however, love the fact that I can play on both the projector and my laptop, so if the GF wants to watch TV, she can. If I build a gaming desktop, I'll be hogging the projector the whole time and she'd have to go elsewhere.
Any suggestions on this?
* I couldn't find any displays that had the form factor of a laptop.
* There's no way to really mount a monitor and have it be able to be placed anywhere
* I could just put a monitor on the coffee table, but that looks terrible.
