I have a Toshiba 55wx800u that is giving me issues. The sound will go off for 3 seconds then come on for 1 sec and repeat. After so many days it will fix itself and be normal till it chooses to act up again. The tv is under warranty with Visa Protection plan. I had a repair change out the main board under warranty and that did not correct the issue. We troubleshoot a few things but no luck. I called Toshiba support and the guy said either the main board or the sound speakers had a problem. I said the main board was changed so it's not that. The audio couldnt be the problem because even when i hooked it to my theater system it worked for a few days but then the audio went out completely using that method. Then he said hardware failure that is not fixable. Any suggestions to what could be the problem? Is there a such thing as a hardware failure that cannot be fixed?
