I have a Yamaha RX V671, PC with XP, with WMP 11, The 671 will pull up and playback songs from Library and almost all of the sub-catagories within the library (artists, songs, genres, albums etc) the 671 will pull up on screen PLAYLISTS but when I push Enter, it will show LOADING, for about 30 sec to a minutes then go to ACCESS ERROR then show NO CONTENT under playlists. It will not even pull up the Sub-categories in the Playlist section. Any thoughts on getting Receiver to access the playlists categories.

I think the cause is simply that the receiver does not support playlists, at least in the form that the server (WMP11) is displaying them. I think that you have to experiment here. Maybe install a different server like Tversity and do a test playlist with that. But you might find that the receiver really only supports audio files, and cannot read/process playlists. It's doing the genre sorting because those are metadata within the music files themselves.
