BIC DV64 or something else?

I ordered a pair of BIC DV64s, but it looks like their going to be backordered for forever, which gives me time to question this decision and see if anything else is better for a similar price.

I bought them because I saw a lot of review saying they were comparable to much more expensive speakers.

I currently have a Yamaha A-S500 amplifier and a Bic F12 subwoofer. I listen to a lot of classical and classic rock, but I don't think that should make a difference. It'll be mostly at low volumes since I live in an apartment. The room is pretty bouncy with wood floors. They'll be used pretty much exclusively for music.


The Polk Audio Monitor 75T is another that I was considering, although it's a bit more expensive. Perhaps it could be worlds better? Or worse? Can anyone say?

Why would the DV62si be better? They have the same drivers, just fewer of them and no passive radiators.

I already have a subwoofer so it should do better with bass. After reconsidering the options, I feel pretty confident with my choice. Hopefully I still will after hearing them.

I ordered from shopblt.com, and they just shipped them out yesterday. They're $118.82 each there. The site says there are still 14 in stock.

I should add, that's the price with free shipping.

Nope. Like I said, my speakers already shipped anyways.
