Hello eveyone. I love upgrading my stereo equipment with thriftstore finds and whatnot.
I have been enjoying a found Pioneer VSX-1020-k for the last few months. Just yesterday it started switching off. Granted my wife tells me of this and she told me she just tried turning it back on and it would be fine for about 4 mins and then switch off. Today i had a chance to look at it and it turned on for about a min and then shut off. Now it will immediately shut off after the click is heard. I assume this is a auto shut off. Also there is a red light above the pqls that is constantly blinking while the system is inevitably on standby. I have tried + and nothing. I have also tried + with nothing. The fuse looks okay but maybe i should change it out any way. Is this a dead power supply or is the board fried. If i let it sit it will power up, the menu will load showing its in say Blu-Ray input and then switch off. Thanks
