Thanks for the replies guys. It seems most of you are getting good use out of your equipment!

I don't know if I have buyer's remorse or upgrade fever.

A few months ago I bought a MartinLogan 5.0 setup (I already had a decent sub). For the center I spent $300 on a Motion C rather than $650 for a Motion 30. There is nothing wrong with the Motion C, but now I really want the 30 because it is the "correct" match for my 4 bookshelfs.

Is that remorse for not going top of the line on the original purchase, or simply upgrade fever because there is an upgrade option out there?

Upgrade fever, there is always something new, bigger and better. I'm 100% happy with my new system but I want to upgrade it lol. Bigger, louder, better looks...

If I could afford it I would have a solid wall of speakers and 10 subs lol...

If there's nothing wrong with the Motion C, then I'd say you have upgrade fever. smile.gif

No remorse from building the HT here although I don't use it nearly as much as I once did but when I do have time to enjoy it I am happy I spent every single penny.

Well, it doesn't fit in the new cabinet I want to get. Maybe that counts as a problem that needs fixing. biggrin.gif

I just put the system to -5 tonight watching fantasia 2000, the firebird. Even though I know it's coming, that phoenix still made me jump a little. That makes it all worth it. wink.gif

And I just watched about 1/3 of the "Eagles: Farewell I Tour - Live From Melbourne" on BD. Man, what a show! cool.gif

the fever is always around, sometimes it is just stronger than usual. you'll be lurking around on the forums and read about someone who just changed something and had a new experience, BOOM. Now that thing you've been thinking about is all of sudden needed lol. I just finally updated the receiver in my system (replacing a 9year old pioneer elite) and WOW. This last month has been a whole new experience. I found my love for just sitting and listen to SACD and DVD-A again. I have been re-watching movies like crazy enjoying all the new detail i can hear. Then the bug hits, i have been looking at getting a new amp. pulled my adcom out when i got my new receiver and now i'm thinking i want to really get my speakers going smile.gif it never ends 26 years invested into this audio thing and a lot of money thrown to way side and all worth it to me.

A bit, yeah, although Joe Walsh did most of the moving. He's definitely the "class clown" of the band. smile.gif

Right on! Any options for me getting high quality sound without buying an actul sacd? Such as downloading a single track. I listen to mostly indie rock / hip hop / rock / pop..

I am of no help with the downloading of music. Downloading music is a last resort for me. If i find a band or dj i like and the only way to get their music is downloading than i will. I prefer getting an actual cd or record in some cases. Call me old school but i like to read the liner notes and booklets. I need to stay off ebay i have found and spent way to much $$ on DVD-A lol

If you have the ability for DVD-A on your setup check out the cell series it incorporates all the genres you mentioned. All very good. i found them all on ebay for under $10ea

Most of these are sold by the album, but this is the best source of hi rez downloads that I know about.
