Not sure what you guys are doing but I can copy to/from a green drive just fine while streaming a bluray disc.
Edit: Just tested the following simultaneous tasks:
Rip BD from client to green drive on server across network.
Stream BD for playback from green drive on server to client across network.
RDP into server and copy file from different drive to green drive locally on server.
There was indeed a glitch in playback for about 3 seconds but then it recovered.
Based on your test, I performed my own, no glitches whatsoever:
Ripped a BD to green drive (in the same server)
Streamed an MKV to remote display and extender
Played another MKV on the server
So I did it all again, this time in addition to above copied a few from green to WD red, and the remote display had brief interruptions but quickly recovered.
All are on SATA/6 interfaces.
