USB 3.0 sufficient for Recorded TV

I'm unable to add an internal drive, so I'm looking to add this little guy to expand my WMC recording capabilities

Is USB3.0 sufficient for recording duties?

USB 2.0 is sufficient.

That drive is WAY over priced.

Watch the ads and you'll get twice the capacity for that price.

Sweet! Currently, the same drive is on sale at Frys for $50. I kinda need it now, so I'll probably just bite the bullet. I don't actually need more space, as my WHS archives all the files every night anyways...but some days I just record more than what my SSD can handle.

$50 is about right, still a little high per TB though.
