Hey guys,

I have been intrigued by the fact that foobar plays really good music, compared to the winamp jriver!!
I have installed it on my HTPC, however i wasnt completely satisified by the sound reproduction.. I am sure there are tons of settings that goes into it.
Anyone has got a good tutorial or seen a guide that displays the intricate details of setting these up.. and also looking forward to have your eq setting files.
Whats your choice of eq, dsp etc.?

Whats your favourite eq settings when you listen to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon..

Would that be the dts/HD-MA or the old stereo WAV file version?

Rip me a copy and send it to me then I'll load it up in Fubar and report back the appropriate settings.

Foobar can't bitstream DTS, it only does PCM/WAV. At best it can decode to PCM and send that across.
As for EQ and DSP, I imagine that should be done in your denon and then left alone unless you are specifically listening to something that has been incorrectly EQ'd.

Thats not true. AVR does room eq, room correction, here we are talking about setting tone values under eq for music.

Well, if your intent is not to produce the most accurate rendition of the original recording, then I think you will find relatively few people with any kind of useful advice for you.
