$500 budget, help - Page 4

in a similar boat...giving myself a $500 budget to set up a good sound system for my mitsu wd-82740.

i saw that you got the v373 receiver and the polk cs10 center...which polks did you end up getting for the fronts? and what other pieces are you planning to add in the future? sub? rears?

BIC F12 - sweet sub $198 at Parts Express

The JBLs and AT 2200c were blind buys, but after getting them dialed with EZset/EQ on my HK AVR-1700, I have been pleasantly surprised. The JBLs have amazing depth for their size and the 2200C is nothing short of astonishing, though it took some time to get them dialed. I had to experiment with the control switches on the back that will customize the speaker to your room conditions and although they're not broken in, still sound incredible.
