I decided to get it through BestBuy since that saved me the need to wait for it to ship and the headache in case the set ships bad. I ended up paying a little more with tax but was worth it.
Re-did my calibration with different patterns, now have 344 hours on my set, so it has aged pretty well. Will leave the older settings with the higher gamma:

The viewing environment is in a dark room and a viewing distance of 5-8 feet (although these settings also work for daytime viewing for me). Calibration was done using an i1DisplayLT meter + ColorHCFR software and the GCD patterns and 10% APL with 75% luminance 100% color saturation patterns) (avg gamma of 2.29 with avg dE of gray scale of 2.83 and avg dE of primary/secondary of 1.63)

To prevent any confusion, this bottom calibration with the 2.6 gamma setting is an earlier calibration I did when my set had less hours on it. My current and latest calibration will always be the top one. I'll leave this one since I know some like a higher gamma to get more pop for dark rooms. Keep in mind not all settings will work with all sets since each set is potentially different but can use it as a baseline if you wish. This calibration is optimized for viewing in a dark room and produces around 30ftl at 100IRE window pattern. Calibration was done using an i1DisplayLT meter + HCFR Fork software and the AVS HD 709 disc patterns.

I realized that this set for some reason tinkering with the RGB low changes which should only affect the low 20-30-40 IRE, is affecting the higher 70-80-90 IRE so I only did a very minor change on the low end of the RGB and mostly tweaked the RGB high settings which affect the entire spectrum of the grayscale.
