Hi, I bought this TV on sale and liked it... until I hooked up my Wii via component and saw these ugly lines.
95% sure it's not the cables since it works absolutely fine on my other 2 TVs.
Anyone else have a Wii hooked up via component to test it against?
Also, black text appears to be blue or purple in almost all settings (although some settings are worse than others). I'd also complain about dithering but apparently people pretend that doesn't exist or doesn't bother them... but it's pretty bad.
I have the w802a (Sony) behind it. The black levels are mediocre and the viewing angles are bad, but SD content looks amazing thanks to Reality Creation, which basically makes the image not so blurry. HD content looks better on the Panasonic though, and again if it wasn't for these issues I'm having I'd prefer it... If someone can help me I might keep it.
I hate returning TVs to the store.
