Need Help with Set Up

Hello,

I used Assassin's blog (which is excellent) to set up WMC and Media Browser. I installed LAV Splitter, and ran as Administrator. I installed both 32 and 64 bit components, and set things up exactly as the guide says.

I also ran Graph Studio 64 bit, and no matter what MKV file I render I NEVER see LAV Audio Decoder handling the audio. It's always Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder shown handling both video and audio.

What am I doing wrong? Should I disable Microsoft DTV/DVD Decoder? I did install WIN TV. Could THAT be the problem?

I have about 100 Blu Ray and DVD's ripped using MakeMKV, and they ALL play and sound fine using VLC, but I have audio problems on most when using WMC and Media Browser...

Thanks in advance,

David

How and what are you connected to?

Assassin,

My HTPC is an I3 -3225 CPU, Z77 Gigabyte MB, 180 GB SSD, 8 GB Ram, etc. connected via HDMI to an Onkyo TX-SR608 and feeding a Mitsubishi 1080P projector and a Phillips 50" LCS HDTV. I am about to change to a Onkyo HT-RC460 next week.

Should Graph Studio show LAV Audio Decoder even if I'm just connected to a PC Monitor?

Thanks,

David

What is showing up as being connected? The Onkyo? Or one of your two displays?

I will have to check when I get home. I am at my office now.

I will respond later tonight.

Thanks for the help, Assassin!

Also, should I remove VLC? Could that be interfering with LAV?

David
