hooking up my Vizio Soundbar 215

OK so I buy the Vizio Sound bar 215 to go with my Samsung 55" 6000 series TV problem I also use WD TV Plus for playing my movies through and eventually use as the main media center. Problem Samsung has only (2) HDMI connections which are being used by satellite provider box and WD TV Plus so cant use HDMI for the sound bar will the digital optical be fine from TV to sound bar and if so which manufacturer should I by. Thought of doing the HDMI amplifier thingy with (2) output HDMI and (1) input but figure might be a problem so digital optical should work fine and get good quality sound ....any input appreciated....thanks in advance.

Thank you Possumgirl unaware that I could do it that way makes sense since (3) HDMI connectors on the sound bar one being ARC appreciate that will do let you know the outcome
