Hey, so I want to buy tower speakers for under $400/pair and after sifting through all the reviews, I've narrowed it down to three choices:

Infinity Primus p363
HTD Level Two Towers
Boston Acoustics A360

Any input is helpful... The main use of these speakers will be for music.. Also, feel free to throw out other suggestions. Thanks!

Do you have a reason why you want towers? I'm going to assume you don't want to add a subwoofer and are going with towers?

i honestly couldn't know less about speakers, but i am only buying either towers and a small sub or bookshelves and a decent sub... not both towers and bookshelves.. from what i've read and heard, towers are a better choice if they're the only source of sound... again, it must be evident i don't know what im talking about, so i am very open to suggestions..

A little bit more than you were looking at $79 more.
Mordaunt Short Aviano 6 towers from Hi Def Lifestyle $479 a pair originally $1,200 a pair.
I don't know of a deal better than that.

Did you give ML Motion 12's a peak?
Or Pioneers?

My room is approx. 14x14... The Mordaunt Short Aviano 6 towers look great, and there's a chance I can up my budget to $479, but i'd prefer not to... anyone have any info on the Mordaunt's or the three other towers i listed?

The Infinity Primus there okay for music if I could get better I would want better. I do like them for movies though if that's what a person was wanting and there's no good deals out there it's good for that. But for music I would want better.

The only Aviano I've heard is a bookshelve model and it's very impressive I would think a tower would be even better since then you would have the bigger fuller sound of a tower and the more stronger satisfying bass.

Really for the price of the Aviano 6 I don't know of a better deal at that price.
That's why I say is there a better deal? Because I would like to know.
If I didn't already have some towers I would of already bought them.

I just got the JBL ES80 speakers at Fry's for $144 each. They sound amazing in my room and the clarity is sharp and the bass is tight.

Cool, nothing better than saving some $ and still getting what you want.

The Aviano 6 now just $399/pair with free shipping on Amazon.

If you're looking for music I'd do Cambridge Audio S30's all the way. My favorite speakers in your price range.

My P363's worked fine but they are simply overmatched by the S30 bookshelf speaker. You can add a sub later, they should have enough bass to be serviceable without a sub but you could certainly add a nice sub now since you'll have about $200 to play with.

If you did pull the trigger, what did you get?
