If I dont care how thin the TV is is Edge lit better than Direct led or vice versa?
Alos what is local dimming? I know what eh manufacter claism it is but waht does it really do? And a follow up to the first question would a local dimming direct lcd be better than a edge lit with smooth motion type feature?
FYI in regards to the smooth motion tech if this matters I am using the TV for Cable dramas, football and golf, the occasional movie from on demand or HBO, and no gaiming on this TV.
