Hello my friends::

I need to know how i can choose the Amp to my speakers..

Normally if the wattage of output of the Amplefier is more than the wattage of speakers ?

I mean for example if i have L / R & center speakers with 200 or 250 watt & the sorround speakers is 100 to 150 watt. Normal to take two Amplifeir (The 1st one have three output deliveries 300 or 350 watts per channel.& The 2nd one have two output deliveries 250 or 200 watts per channel.

I would look at the db rating of your speaker first. If your running a highly sensitive Klipsch which normally have db ratings in the mid 90's to around 100 low watt tubes will give you plenty of power. On the other end if you have something like the late and departed Platinum Solo which had an 84db rating 150-200 wpc would be required.smile.gif

Let take Klipsch P37F floorstanding to example:

The klipsch P37F floor standing speakers have a 275 watts, its sensitivity is 96dB & recommended amplifier power is 50-600watt & nominal impedance is 4 ohms.

So for this specs can i use amplifier emotive XPR-2 which is 600W x 2 ????

Uhh how far will you be from the speakers? at 96dB sensitive they can hit high volumes with little power.
