Hi guys,

this is my first post ever.

I'm guessing this subject has been killed to death but i cant find it, so i'm going to ask...sorry for the inconvenience.

So i have a onkyo tx-nr616, which uses LFE. However, my pioneer sp-pk52fs system which uses the SW-8MK2 sub does not use lfe. It has 2 "line-in" audio jacks.

Are the 2 line-in audio jacks at the back rca? below is a link for the picture:

What would I need to do in order to make it work.

do i need some sort of lfe to rca splitter cord?

your help is much appreciated.

Connect a RCA Subwoofer cable like this:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10236&cs_id=1023603&p_id=2682&seq=1&format=2

from your "Subwoofer OUT" on the receiver to either one of the "Audio In" jacks on the sub.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for your quick response.

Just to confirm, I purchase a Coaxial Audio/Video RCA cable and plug one end into my receivers "pre out subwoofer" and plug one end into either of the "audio In' jacks? The choice of the "audio in" jack doesn't matter?

Sorry i am new to this and just putting my first non HTIB in place.

Thanks,

Seun
