That's what I had expected but found it to be the opposite. A6-3500 (65W) + A75M-ITX uses less power than A6-5400K (65W) + FM2A75M-ITX/MSI FM2 ITX. Same for A8-3820 (65W) vs. A10-5700 (65W) quad-cores. I used the same crappy inefficient mini-ITX power supply (LOL), same measuring tools, same configuration (1 stick RAM, no HDD, just sitting in the BIOS). FWIW, what make "sitting in the BIOS" interesting is ASRock and MSI both seem to be running the CPU at 100% with Turbo. So, while 65W Llano systems I have no problems with a 120W brick, for the A10-5700 I need a 150W brick. Standardizing all the mini-ITX cases on a 180W power board has helped with Trinity issues too.
