I'm not aware of it having gone away in the stream info display. The player which shipped on Roamio had extra information in that display, being the actual bit rate of the encode; there are two each of 384 SD, 480 SD (different resolutions), 720 HD and 1080 Super HD video encodes. This new player doesn't show that extra info. It also doesn't mark the descriptions with "Super HD", saying just "HD", so you can't tell at a glance which titles are 720p-only.
Netflix on the Roku 3 is the same new UI and it performs quite well, but it lacks a way to bring up the stream info display
, so TiVo is my favorite. Now the Premiere has the same interface, which is much more responsive than the old Adobe AIR based one (I signed up to get the 20.3.8 release early, with which you eventually get the new Netflix and the Opera Store).
