Wreck-It Ralph 3D

So I picked this up yesterday, watched it last night. To be honest, I was a little disappointed in the 3D presentation. Zero pop-out (so some folks will hate it right off for that), but depth was okay. But on the whole, it just didn't really benefit from the 3D in any way. It almost felt like a conversion, where the 3D was added more as an afterthought than actually planned out during production. The last Disney title I watched before this was Tangled, and its 3D presentation is fantastic, you can really tell they planned for it. With Wreck-It Ralph, not so much. Which is kind of sad, because the film itself is incredible, it would have been nice to take it to the next level like other Disney films.

Interestingly, though, I found Paperman's 3D worked very well, considering it's "ink and paper" rendering style. Definitely worth seeing that in 3D.

Sorry to hear that since I just ordered a copy on Ebay last night....rolleyes.gif I just bought the 3D Bluray from someone selling just the 3D disc. I'm wondering if the Paperman short is also on that disc?
Thanks!

I thought the 3D was pretty good but yeah if you like pop out a lot you probably won't care for it. The 3D in it looks similar to how the 3D looks for video games with nVidia's 3D Vision on PC IMO which fits with the theme...
