Hey everyone, My dealer offered me a demo jvc x70r for $3600 with an extra bulb.  I have a buyer if I did that for the Sony. But unfortunately I was an idiot and paid full msrp for the 50es. Stay with the Sony? or go with x70r? Im using a 100" SI Black diamond g3 1.4 gain fixed screen in a light controlled living room with off white walls.

How many hours on the X70? I assume full warranty?

What are you looking to gain by switching to the JVC? You mention watching everything on the Sony. It has one of the least expensive replacement lamps, so you can rack up the hours.

You may not see an appreciable difference in contrast between the models depending on the light reflections in your room. Same thing for e-shift on a relatively small screen.
