I Searched a Thread for 147...

Thread Starter

I searched a thread for 147 and one of the posts really did not have 147 in it.

The Forum Search result also included 1:47 in one of the posts.

Is this a 'bug' and can it be fixed?

The following thread search yields 7 posts with '147' or its variants:

Here are a few examples from the above thread search:  3 ‘bogus’ results and 1 good return:

I do not know where - what site it was - but I remember doing searches with leading or trailing spaces or putting quotes around terms and worked nice.  I have not see these kinds of searches in decades.   A lost 'art'?    biggrin.gif

That's actually much better than it used to be. There was a time where you weren't even allowed to search for something as short as 3 characters.

They're always working on making search improvements, but I wouldn't call that much of a bug knowing what it used to be. smile.gif
