I initially bought the Acer H6510BD but had to send it back because it was too loud and too wide for my screen size (I had to put it in front of my seating area instead of on the shelve above me). This one seems to be more quiet and less wide so a perfect solution!

Will this unit work on USA region? it seems better than the Acer H6510BD.

sorry,why not?
it's a very good unit with a very clean picture,as for comparison with h6510bd,I can't say anything, since I never had one.

Received mine today, projected image looks fabulous and in ECO pleasant sound level as opposed to the H6510BD. Still going over the features and will have to wait to test the 3D once I get some glasses. Minor criticism so far is the "black level" adjustment feature, when you turn it on, on mid and high setting each time the shot in a movie changes you can hear the beamer calibrate faintly, I have it placed over me so I did notice it during silent scenes, the fan output stays constant though so it's not as if it shuts down ECO mode like some of the older models do when you turn on black level. It's a minor criticism really as this beamer is pretty quiet for the features it boosts.

The menu is very detailed and easy to navigate, I had to adjust the shutdown option to "resume" in order for it to have the extra 2 minutes cool down when you shut it down. Default it is set to shutdown without cooling off which I doubt is recommended?

Anyway, so far very happy with my purchase and I will do a movie marathon tonight to give it the workout biggrin.gif
