Need a little DIY help on Driver Replacement

I had to replace a blown woofer in my Triad Platinum sub. I have already received my replacement driver and took out my old blown one too. However, when I was putting in the new driver, some of the screws did not tighten, they went in, but just would continue to spin if I tried to tighten them. Assuming the holes are stripped or something.

So my question is, do I make ALL new holes for the screws or do I add some adhesive to make them tight, or do nothing?

Thanks. Final question the previous driver wires were soldiered to the box wires, is that recommended?

Got 4 of the eight screws out. The other four screws will not come out. There are inserts that the screws screw into. Assuming the inserts are just spinning when I'm trying to take the screws out.

I'm stumped on how to get then out. Can not get any leverage as they are recessed into the woofer. Any suggestions on how to get these out?

They will come up some, but there will not be enough room to get a dremel in there. The rim of the woofer will be in the way.

Guess I'm gonna try to drill the head off with a metal bit.
