Our home theater is aging and needs some help.
What my wife and I have:
Pioneer Kuro PRO-101FD Monitor
Cox Cable
LG BD390 BluRay player
Martin Logan Mosaic Speakers in the front
Martin Logan Fresco Center Speaker
REL Q150E Sub Woofer
In-wall SpeakerCraft surrounds (no idea the model, they were installed back in 2005)
the original receiver was a 3000 series Denon ($1200 back in 2005), it went out circa 2010 and I replaced it with an Onkyo TX-SR706 and have never been really happy with how things sound with that.
Looking for a new receiver, would like to keep it under $1200. Any thoughts? I have been looking online at the Pioneer Elite SC-61, but man they throw just all these gizmos at you....we are simple folk...we watch TV and Movies....the wife on occassion will plug her I-POD in to listen to music...but our needs are pretty basic.
We just want a great picture and great sound.
