My cable box seems to lose it's settings off the User Settings page ( power off then hit menu)

I like it on:
TV Type = 16:9
HDMI/YPbPr = 1080i
4:3 override = stretch

Often (once a day) I have to go back in and reset these.

Any ideas? Also anyone have any new info on how to get the most out of this unit? Output ports Hdd optimization etc?

Is you box resetting?
Do you remove the power to it when you turn it off?(unplug or flip a breaker)

Nope. It stays on 24/7

I would call the cable company and tell them what is happening and also inform them that you do not power the STB off.
They should exchange the box for you.
