How to Hook up a converter?

I just hooked up my old vcr using a Dish Pal converter. I just used it a couple of times and forgot about the great TV guide it has on it and even better reception that my new Magnavox DVR/DVD!! It will pull in stations that the Mag. won't.

Now my question is how to hook it up to my new Magnavox (don't need the vcr) so I can have the TV guide and even better reception to my HDTV.

True. Maybe I will connect a splitter and put a small TV beside my big one for the tv guide.
