Indeed.

So can we still place orders?
Still, it would be nice if someone on their end would at least post a response!

Response to what question?
Are you going to fill existing orders?

I was told the last of the orders were filled and mailed Friday and today.

Will there be more software licenses available anytime soon?
Great. Thank you.

Where? Maybe I missed it. There was speculation, a few more or less posed the question (including you!), but I have not seen a direct answer from Assassin. Now I understand that he sold out, I'm just inquiring if they might acquire more licenses, that's all. cool.gif

We are working on a few things.

Stay tuned...

Maybe this is a moot point because it has been asked already or because x86 is limited in how much RAM you can have but are these good for doing a 32 bit installation too?

Sounds good!

So can we still place orders? I have been actively looking for discounted licenses for my HTPC Build...Please let me know when you get a chance.
So, has anyone received their license yet?
Since there's a few people who confirmed they have in this thread, are you trolling for something?
NO I am not. I am talking about the last group that has been waiting. No need to be a jerk, it was simply a question. If you don't have a civil answer keep your opinions to yourself!

There's no way of knowing whether the last people who purchased licenses are even forum members here

Either a PM or e-mail would be more effective

Agreed I suppose. Guys, I am not trying to stir up trouble. I ordered just before the notice saying they had run out. I tried asking a couple of times on their website. Got no response. I understand they are swamped. I am just trying to find out a rough timeframe. I have nothing but respect for Assassin! He said the remainder of the licenses went out Friday and Monday. Just asking if anyone knows, that's all. I think that's what forums are for, right.

Send Ben an email at sales@assassinhtpc.com

I have nothing to do with the licenses so really I can't comment further on the details.

Thank you.

I think I was one of the last to get right after they ran out of initial batch (order took a few days to go through). I received my license key in the mail last week.

If they had more on deck, I would buy a couple more right now.

Just to let everyone know - I received my activation code today and all is good. Thank you Assassin for a great deal on the software.
For those that received licenses and activated, how did activation go?

I installed Windows 7 Pro on Sunday using a Windows 7 Pro activation key purchased from Assassin and got the dreaded "the product key you entered cannot be used to activate Windows on this computer" message today.

I downloaded the Windows 7 Pro 64 bit ISO from: http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-24281.iso. Created a bootable USB key with the Microsoft tool and all was good until today.

What did I do wrong? Help?

Thanks.

Contact Ben at the email address I posted above.

I know what you are going through. It took me about five tries. The lettering is so small on the key, that I finally had to get a magnifying glass. Turned out the three 8's were actually an 8, a B, and a 3. Works like a charm with the correct sequence! Try that first.

I assume the Windows licenses are still sold out, but do you still hvae the Server 2008 licenses?
Isn't bulk purchase of licence something you can do again and again ???

(NOTE: I'd buy (4) x64 PRO if so )

Hopefully everyone received their licenses!

Sorry for the delay on some as we got a little bit overwhelmed!

We have small window of opportunity to offer more to the AVS community members.

email: Ben@assassinhtpc.com or PM us if interested.
