They don't cost much either. I got mine an Extech for $75. Useful I found out my Sharp Z17000 which I just got from BB for $899 screamer deal with 3yr warranty's light level. Just like others got 1225 lumens for 3D dynamic mode, 600 or 700 lumens for 2D tuned down to D65k according to low lamp or bright lamp which is a great start.
Love to get one of those at that price! I prefer Sharp projectors. My first projector was a DT-100 in 2003. It has a 5 speed wheel. I have never seen RBE. I replaced it with a EIKI EIP-1500T. When I first installed the 1500t, I thought I might have seen some RBE in Roy Orbisons "Black and White Night". After adjusting the settings I have never seen any RBE. I still use the DT-100 to show 720p MotoGP races on a portable sceen for an old racing buddy.
I believe you may have had a DT-400?
