Stupid noobie error... How do I fix?

After constructing a sub cabinet over the weekend, I realized I forgot to insert the t-nuts behind the baffle board for the bolts to hold the driver in. Any ideas how I can insert them after the fact without damaging the baffle? I understand it is rather tuff to insert them into MDF.

I was thinking of using a vise with a board running across the speaker cutout to support the top of tvise without damaging the face. Will that work?

TNuts should always be installed by pulling them into place with a bolt. Use a washer to keep the bolt head from damaging the baffle.

Why not just use drywall screws and skip the Tnuts?

Second the motion on pulling them into their predrilled holes with a bolt. I also recommend using a small block of wood to protect the face of the baffle. You could also press them into place with a large C-clamp.

Get some tube stock a larger than the bolt, cut short to allow the bolt that you will use, which needs to be long enough to allow some to stick into the box, so that it will grab the T-nut, place washer between it and the wood, then hold the nut until it starts drawing up, stop when pulled into the wood.

I just realized I also ordered Hurricane nuts along with my T-Nuts... Which would you recommend?

Neither, use good wood screws. There may be a few that like H and T nuts but the majority will recommend good wood screws.

+1. The only reason to use blind nuts is when the baffle is too thin to hold screws.
