The RW-12d is Klipsch's "Reference" line. Not a "basic" sub.

Still, the Martin Dynamo 500 is probably not a bad deal at $300.

You can't hear the Klipsch RW12d at a B&M store at least not any more (it's been officially discontinued by Klipsch). Nor the internet-direct subs for that matter. Can't hear much in a BB showroom compared to your own room. Thanks. I will try and find out. I might still get it. I can always use it in another room. Even though my wife is going to kill me. lol. I'm already using this as my secondary system with those pioneer speakers and a mirage center. No surround. Just the front 3 speakers and the sub.
