Pioneer SC-1222-K $479.99 shipped @ Newegg

Advertised price right now at Newegg for the Pioneer SC-1222-K is $529.99 (straight up, no promo) shipped. If you set up a V.me Visa account (free) and use the VMEPROMOMAR13 promo code, you get another $50 off for a total of $479.99 shipped.

Thats $620 off the $1099.99 MSRP!

I snagged one late last night for that price and I just checked Newegg at 9:30est and the price is still the same and the promo code is still accepted.

I wanted to try something with class D amps and this is by far the cheapest way to go.....

Sounds like a great deal.
Anyone have an opinion on how this stacks up against the Onkyo 818? Or even the 809, since thats on sale on amazon for about the same price as the 1222.

The manual makes no mention of Neo X only Neo 6. It appears you are sol.eek.gif

Still $529 shipped is still a good deal.

Did you have problems signing up for V.me? It literally took me a couple minutes to sign up which, was well worth the $50 savings........

Also, someone mentioned in another thread that the V.me Newegg promo code is supposedly good through March 21st.

I used the newegg 12 month no finance option, if it was under $500 I wouldnt have been able to.

I think the Vme discount thing expired yesterday. I tried the code this am, just to see, and it did not work.

Thanks but not even close. The Tiger Direct link you gave is for a VSX-1122. Everyone in this thread is buying a SC-1222; a far better AVR.

Just read on another site that the $50 off V.me promo was supposed to run through 3/21 but Newegg ended it saying that the allocated funds for the promo were all used........

It's $499 after coupon code now. Thinking of snagging one up since it's $100 cheaper than the SC-1522K at Costco.

Ditto this question - can someone who knows these products compare them for us?

Iv asked this question on three other threads but no one seems to know the answer or cares to share. The only difference I see is 5watts and the XT32.

I've compared the 1522 k to the nr818 on the 1522 thread.
