Samsung LE46C750 will not play SBS file on Blu-ray Player

Hi, I have a Sumsung LE46C750 tv, and a Samsung BD-C900 Blu-ray Player.
If I play a SBS file via PC Share and the wireless Samsung dongle connected to my PC it will let me selest 3D SBS on the tv and will play perfectly.
If I play the SBS file via a memory stick plugged into the tv usb socket it will play in 3D as well.
However, if I burn the SBS file to a DVD disc (in either data or video file format) the Blu-ray player will play the file, but the tv will not let me select 3D SBS mode, so it will only play as a split screen video.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there no way of playing it via the Blu-ray player?
I would be grateful for any help,
Many thanks. smile.gif

Sorry, I'm a bit confused now.
I have a Sumsung LE46C750 tv, and a Samsung BD-C900 Blu-ray Player, connected by an HDMI lead.
When i put a dvd disc into the blu-ray player with an sbs file in either data or video file format, it will play on the tv as a split screen picture.
But when I select 3D on my tv remote it will not let me select sbs option.

Through a receiver or directly connected?receiver model? and there is no c900 model from samsung, is that correct model?? Have you tried plugging into the USB port on the TV? Copying and pasting your original post doesnt help answer the question if you dont read the follow up :-)

Please bear with me, I'm a newbie to this and don't really know what you mean by a receiver, which is why I put that it was coonected directly by an HDMI lead. I wasn't aware that there is a way of connecting it via USB socket, which is why I have been using a Memory Stick in the USB socket. Will get USB lead tomorrow and try that.
And, sorry, I missed a number from the Blu-ray player. It is BD-C5900.

the receiver can be defined as your audio hub, or A/V receiver. Do you currently have a surround system? If you are playing the file through the blu ray player, it may not work, due to being region locked or format of the encoded file. If you are able to play the disc but see the double image, make sure 3D is enabled on both the TV and player and please post your results.

I have no other equipment connected. Just tried USB lead connection, and it wouldn't work. If I plug memory stick in USB socket of Blu-ray player it will let me choose 3D SBS mode.
If I play it on a dvd it plays split screen, but will only let me select 2D-3D option.
I assume it just won't work on a dvd disc, and I'll have to get a Blu-ray burner instead.

what do you mean only let me select 2D-3D option? When you press the 3-D button on the TV remote, no option for SBS appear. From some further research, A lot of people had issues with 3D content on a "C" series samsung. They also mentioned that firmware upgrade broke this feature, but may have been fixed with a new firmware. Can you see if you have the latest firmware installed on the TV?

edit-
v 0.9.5.4 - 2011-11-14
- [FIXED] - Home View - minor bugs
- [FIXED] - Player - 3D was broken for C-Series
- [FIXED] - Movie View - you were stuck, if you choose a subsection with no movies in it
- [UPDATED] - ALL - cleanup include files -> switching between views is a little bit faster now

I have the latest Firmware on both TV and Blu-ray Player.
When I play the disc on the player it plays in split screen , I then select 3D on the tv remote, but the SBS option is greyed out and the only one it will hilight is the 2D-3D option.

not sure whats happening here, but here is what I discovered on your particular player:
"adding H-SBS to the filename" try this and let us know what the results are.
