Small (very small) surround speaker but still good sound?

Hello

I have set up my new Plasma TV (65") and my home theater. But i have to find a solution for the surround speakers
I want something small, smaller than bookshelf speakers
I was looking at some Polk OWM 3 or OWM 5, or Polk RM8
My main speakers and center are Polk as well (TSi300 and CS2), so Polk maybe a smart choice? But I am open to any suggestion, as long as they are small but still with good (at least decent ) sound quality for movie sound effects

Thanks

Have you check the polk tl3?

Try the Ascend HTM-200 SE. Excellent speakers. Sealed so wall mountable. Sound great...

Rearlly about the best you can get at that price range. If they are too big NHT Sub Zero's get good reviews as well.

Check these out, Mordaunt Short Carnival 1. I have their big brother, the Carnival 2 for desktop speakers and really like them. $119 a pair.

+1 on these.

Might also consider the KEF HTS2001.3 sats ...

They are on sale, are wall mountable or can sit on a shelf, and have excellent imaging (a speaker quality I like for surrounds).

I am thinking about OWM3 and OWM5 (Polk)
Do you know them?
For surround speaker, does it make a difference to go OWM5 vs OWM3?

I'll throw Orbs into the mix.

No not really much of a difference, The OWM5 will have better frequency response and allow for a fuller sound.

Given that you have Polk TSi300 and the CS2. Polk Audio surrounds would be the best for you.

You can't go wrong with either but since you want a small surround I would go with the Polk OWM3's

You may want to review this thread that I started regarding surround speakers; it may influence your decision:
