Loosing hdmi sync when going to fullscreen

Like topic says, it is happening only with hd content (720 or 1080p), screen on Optoma hd25 goes blank for 6-7 seconds and then finds source (hdmi) again and movie starts..... Monitor and projector are connected to PC, it is happening in any player... For input source in projector menu i chose only HDMI 1, dont know what should i do....

This happens any time the resolution changes. I have my STB set to SD override 480p which sends the projector 480p for SD channels. When I change to a HD channel the screen goes blank and you wait for the projector to change to 720p. Nothing you can do about it, that is how it works.

Your desktop resolution and the player resolution are not the same. Set the desktop to 720p and the player to 720p and you shouldn't see any blank screen.

but this never happened on my old 720p projector, neither on 720p or 1080p movie, or on pc monitor with 1920x1200 resolution.

Different projectors behave differently...what you are reporting is more typical than a projector that will accept a resolution change seamlessly.

hmm but also, resolution remain the same.... Desktop is at 1920x1080 so as a movie i play....

And why it is not happening when starting games?

This is really iritating... because in short period of time i fly through my movie collection deciding which one should i watch, and for only one of them i have to wait for around 10 seconds, 5s for start and 5s when exiting movie. This shouldnt be normal. If it really is i would have to sell this projector and buy one which doesnt do this, like my previous Infocus.

EDIT:
on media player classic or on VLC, when playing 720p source everything is ok, my desktop resolution is 1080p ! So why is it doing it? While it really is changing resolution there is no that effect, and when playing 1080p with 1080p on desktop it is.

You are resizing...that makes a difference to the projector...try resizing a video on CNN for example just with a computer monitor, even if you don't change the resolution it is not absolutely seamless.
