Is that the Lake Boden by Stanton carpet in your theater? That was one I really liked and considered.

Yes it is - thanks. I hemmed and hawed a lot but it is one decision I'm very happy with. Very plush carpet. I like your choice a lot as well - looking forward to seeing it installed!

According to my i1display meter and calman I am getting 15 fl in 16x9 and 11.5 fl in 2.35(with isco). I coming from a high power 133 inch using zoom method and in my room this seems plenty bright. Measurement taken at 14 hours on bulb

Ok. Getting closer and closer. Been spending a little too much time watching movies this week but I'd say room is about 90 percent complete. Here are some updated pics.

How is the 50es with the lens. How did you configure the setup to fill the 2.35 screen? Just interested cause ill be installing my 50es and lens soon... so just wondering how'd you setup the projector.

Thanks

What are your seating distances? My room is similar except I will have a door to the front left of the screen. Do you think the screen is too large?

Projector works great with the lens! In my setup the lens is attached to a cineslide that moves lens in and out of the projected images pathway. All you need to do for setup is to have the image setup to where the image height fills the screen and is centered. When you want to watch 2.35 material the lens will be moved in front of the primary lens and with the projector in its vertical stretch mode everything will work no issues.

Front row is about 10'8" and the back row 16'. Personally, I don't find the screen too large at all. My previous screen was 122" wide and I am loving it at 150. With that said the front row is about as close as I'd want to be.

Awesome Theater!

Soffits are really well done, I have a room I am working on now and have the same layout with knee walls and angles. Can you tell me what the dimensions of your soffit are? As well as maybe a short run down of how you built it?

Thanks!

How much space do you have from back row to the rear wall? What size was the screen in the prior version of your theater?

Roughly 4 ft. Will have to measure to be sure. My prior screen was 122x52.
