In truth, the ceiling is your biggest concern....the screen wall cannot get a drop of Projected light on it unless it is reflected from the ceiling back down across it.
If you paint the Screen wall Black....or any darker color, it will be only good for making the wall look darker, it won't do a thing for the screen's actual performance....although it can help the Blacks on screen "appear" blacker when viewed against the darker wall as a reference.
Ceilings and walls to each side....that is entirely different.
Let me advise you, and everyone else about "Black paint". Especially "Flat" Black. Apply any light to it and it will shine "Blue". It really is not that effective, and it looks absolutely awful....dusty and dull, when viewed with lights on.
A dark Gray Flat Enamel is far better looking and works much better.
