Current sets 3 Years old, and will keep them going until the OLED 4K with Passive 3D is here at not too much of a loan price!
Well, there are probably a lot of members in my situation, with what is now a fairly antique (but fully serviceable) HDTV, but not in a position to buy the latest and greatest :-) I watch the forums to keep abreast of the new technology and what people have to say about the new brands and models, as eventually I'll have to replace my set :-) One thing I pay particular attention to are reliability issues.
But then I tend to keep my technology items as long as the work. I still have my Sony tube set around as I keep forgetting to take it to Goodwill, I had used it for ca 12 years and it still works fine. It had replaced a smaller Panasonic set I had for ca 15 years until a nearby lightning strike (half a block away) fried that one's tuner :-)
